Copyright concerns on the documents that were posted[edit]
I'm not sure we can host those on this Wiki, due to copyright issues. Everything that is posted here must be licensed under the GFDL.
If you want to preserve those documents, my suggestion would be to place them elsewhere on the web (a simple page on Yahoo/Geocities would work fine) and then link to them from the WikiFur entry. Thanks! --Douglas Muth 13:10, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
- There is no copyright over posts made over Usenet, actually. Trust me, The Church of Scientology has tried to say otherwise since 1995.Kupok 02:14, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
- Um, I do not believe that is how copyright law works. When a work is created, it is copyright by its author, unless they state otherwise. While Usenet posts may fall into a grey area, I am quite certain that we cannot arbitrarily apply the GFDL to them. --Douglas Muth 02:28, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
