Hi there, Kendricks Redtail, and welcome to WikiFur! Thanks for taking the time to tell us about yourself. Let me know if you need any help not already provided. :-) --GreenReaper(talk) 08:21, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

I assume that Image:7218208.png is of Commander Kitsune, since it is placed in that article. Could you re-upload the image with a description and a meaningful filename? Thank you. -- Sine 22:59, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

I made this for you... or... yeah.[edit]

Newcookie.PNG Congratulations KendricksRedtail!
You have been awarded with a Furry-Treat for such good work on reverting and such, and whatever else you've been doing ^_. .^.

I wasn't referencing you at Talk:Jeremy, the Duke of Otterland, rather I was referring to our friend Downspin. Sorry for not being clear! Simba B 02:20, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Umm yeah, on the Ritz page, please define what you mean by.. more. Thanks - Ritza

editing Hyesteria page[edit]

Hi, listen, I was wondering how come you removed majority of the text in the Hyesteria page considering it explains what her powers are? - RVDDP2501 21:27, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, I must have missed that, there was a lot of extra text in there like "she marks the first time I've ever drawn a hyena even though her as a character concept has been in my head for over 4 years now and I'm just now getting her to paper." and "Yeah, she's not much of a 'laughing' hyena, but if you want uncontrolable fits of tears and self-loathing, she's your girl." Go ahead and fix it by readding a description of her powers, all right?--Kendricks Redtail 21:46, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Thank you and I'm sorry for the revert war that took place earlier in the Extinctioners main page, btw I mainly reverted the text that was removed minus the ones you mentioned concidering that was mainly Shawntae talking about the character (when I first made that page, I mainly performed a cut-and-paste, I sadly didn't notice those parts), the information was obtained from this link -, once again, thanks for your reply, I hope to continue altering Extinctioners pages for the better and any help from others is greatly apprciated - RVDDP2501 21:58, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Please reupload Image:787202.jpg with a meaningful filename, such as ChakatSunstreak.jpg. Thank you! -- Sine 21:40, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Edit summary[edit]

Thanks for adding all that info today. I noticed some didn't have an edit summary. Please don't forget the edit summaries. (Even if it just "added to ConFurence GOH cat") --EarthFurst 06:51, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi Ken, just a reminder - please do provide edit summaries. Thanks! ----DuncanDaHusky(talk) 21:05, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Category information and order[edit]

Hey there, you enthusiastic category-adder (laudable, if a touch over-enthusiastic from my point of view!) thank you for going to the work of getting people added to categories.

Two things to keep in mind: document. If a person (or indeed, another article) is in a category, there should be an explanation in the article text, so, for example, there should be a line such as "Joe Blogs was staff for ABC con in 2003, in charge of the mud pit", if Joe gets Category:ABC staff for all of a sudden. A similar note in the edit summary (or just "listed as ABC staff in ABC article") keeps things tidy.

On the topic of keeping things tidy, there is an informally established category order, and what that person does category (such as, say, Fursuiters and Covention staff) should be before the Peacock characters category (or whatever species or other note), which is in turn followed by the location and dates categories. Using this order from early on saves (I jsut mistyped that as shaves, hmm) shuffling later on. -- Sine 06:58, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

I see you and I have the same habit of using our instead of or, but in this case, can we keep the categories consistent with honor, not honour, like you did for the Euroference? Love and kisses, Kendricks Redtail 17:26, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Eurofurence calls them guests of honour. If some other convention calls them twiddly rabbits of wonderfulness, we can use that. Could you please not use the "Love and kisses" sig to me? I'm not comfortable with that sort of assumed intimacy. -- Sine 17:33, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
ok, fair enough. I just thought maybe it was an inconsistency. And sorry about that, it's not assumed intimacy, its a little thing I like to call snarkiness.--Kendricks Redtail 17:44, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
It is inconsistent, so well-spotted, but also is intentional. Onwards to de-capping and shuffling categories!-- Sine 18:46, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Oh sure! I thought I was actually making an article, but I guess I'm sorta new to this... heh. Thanks though. =3 Seregei

Sure, I Appreciate the help[edit]

Thanks for letting me know that I was only updating my profile... I would like to know what to do in order to make my page an article here. So thank you again. =3 Seregei Black 03:41, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
It's no problem. Just go to Seregei Black and get started!--Kendricks Redtail 03:43, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Oh wow... THANK YOU! =3 Seregei Black 03:59, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, Im new.[edit]

Thanks for the help and input. Im not that good at writing so thats why i have the repeating going. Ill try and change that although if you could word those to sound much better that would be great. - Kaji

Is all right. A tip of the trade: When you're done writing something, go back and read it to yourself aloud. If it sounds like the stupidest thing you've ever heard, then it's probably not wellwritten. In the future, also, if someone makes a comment in your talk page, reply there, not on the other person's talk page, unless you're just adding a side comment of personal message.--Kendricks Redtail 02:36, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

Well, i changed the setencing a bit. Hows it look now? - Kaji

How come you changed it back to interests. I made sure the sentencing wasnt repetative plus i took a few things out. Could i please go back to using "likes" and "dislikes"? - Akarei a.k.a Kaji

Hello KendricksRedtail,

This is in regards to Image:Anubis2.jpg and Image:Anubisfursuit.jpg and Image:Bastet.jpg. It has not been tagged with a copyright status. This can be a complicated area, so I can try to help if you need any. The Wikipedia Image use policy may give some background, but it isn't policy here.

To deal with this image, there are a few choices:

  • If you are the copyright holder, release it under a free license, for example:
  • If you are asserting that this image is usable under fair use, add an appropriate fair use tag. A very basic summary is that fair use is used for commentary, criticism and review on the image when no free image could be used instead. Some fair use tags are:
    • Logos: {{logo}}
    • Covers: {{Cover}}
    • Comic panels: {{Comic-panel}}
  • If the image is already under a free license, provide information on the license, and tag the image if you can.
  • If you would like the image to be deleted, ask any administrator

To see a list of current copyright tags available on WikiFur, see Category:Image copyright tags If the copyright status is not resolved, the image may be deleted.

Unless you have a question for me specifically, I'd prefer responses on the page for the image. --Rat 10:07, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for your help :)

Image:Bulldancelg.jpg needs a copyright tag, in the same way as described in my earlier message. --Rat 21:37, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Userpage info[edit]

Love to write something about you, but I have no idea who you are. Do others?--Kendricks Redtail 02:28, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

  • I eblieve a few do, I'll be posting about my wish on a forum I frequent and perhaps later might inform a freind or two inside SL

Welcome to WikiFur:Administrators![edit]

I noticed you've been doing a lot of work at WikiFur and have needed help moving some pages around. Here's a few extra powers to make things a little easier. Be sure to visit the links in the above page to see how to use them if you've not had sysop access on a wiki before (the bot rollback feature is particularly useful). Remember you can always come onto IRC for more help from myself or other administrators. Enjoy! :-) --GreenReaper(talk) 09:18, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Indeed, thanks for helping us a lot... welcome to the cabal :P -- JaeSharp 09:21, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
Yes, you've made a lot of worthwhile edits, Kendricks. Welcome to the bigger-mop-and-bucket brigade ;) -- Higgs Raccoon 13:15, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Image:Character cec.jpg needs its copyright status resolved, same as the previous messages. --Rat 06:17, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

A Question of Tone[edit]

On Talk:Cloaca vs Vulva, you wrote: If we feel that this article is inappropriate for WikiFur, it goes byebye. Actually, there is no "we". On WikiFur, if a consensus develops that an article is inappropriate, then it may be deleted. That consensus is developed by all users - administrators and users alike. Administrators do not have any greater say about what stays or what goes than a standard user; they merely have different navigational and editing tools available to them. ----DuncanDaHusky(talk) 22:27, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

That isn't a problem at all. I implied the "we" as the consensus anyways, not the all-powerful admins. Sorry I didn't clarify that and ended up in a misleading tone.--Kendricks Redtail 22:56, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Image:Dividgilbert.gif, Image:Frostcat.JPG[edit]

These two also need copyright tags. --Rat 01:53, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

The image Image:Jungleking.jpg needs a copyright tag as well. --Rat 06:58, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Image:Kitfox.jpg, Image:Laffbowling.jpg, Image:Laffnye.jpg[edit]

These need copyright status tags as well. --Rat 23:13, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Image:Minotaur.jpg, Image:Minotaurfursuit.jpg[edit]

These two need their copyright status resolved as well. --Rat 22:30, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

Image:Sliderfest.jpg should have its copyright status resolved. --Rat 07:10, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

Road Runner[edit]

You don't have to put both tags in. One or the other will do. --Rat 02:02, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

"Also, why is this under the title Kiralea and no mention of that name is made anywhere?" Because User:Rapture had created Kiralea with the content "WIP" and had blanked Rapytur and set it as a redirect to said page. See User talk:Rapture. (Also, may I suggest archiving your talk page sometime soon? It's getting a little long. =3) Spaz Kitty 20:26, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
