Hi there, Kaffawolf, and welcome to WikiFur! Thanks for starting off the fursuiter.org article. Let me know if you need any help not already provided. :-) --GreenReaper(talk) 09:20, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

House style[edit]

Thanks for adding details of your fursonas! Just a note - we tend to only bold the first instance of an article name (or name redirecting to an article) - otherwise it gets distracting as you go down the page. Similarly, only the first instance of a keyword should be linked, to avoid redundant links cluttering up the (exceptions are sometimes appropriate for very long pages). Hope this helps! --GreenReaper(talk) 07:40, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

Linkage from fursuiter.org[edit]

I noticed we started getting hits from fursuiter.org a few days ago. Thanks for adding the link - every visitor helps! :-) --GreenReaper(talk) 18:55, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit]

I've deleted the file, so it doesn't get re-added by people trying to clean up our unused images list. :-) GreenReaper(talk) 13:08, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

fursuiter.org, part duex[edit]

I'd really rather not see another promising furry website go down, particularly like that. If you want, I will at least try to keep fursuiter.org online, and perhaps find a more permanent host/developer in the mid-future. I can understand if you don't want to leave things behind, but this seems like a bad way to end things that don't need to be ended. I know I'd be proud to see WikiFur go on without me if I ever left. :-)

I am flying to Further Confusion 2007 tomorrow evening, but I should be able to get email at the hotel. Please consider it. --GreenReaper(talk) 08:30, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

fursuiter.org edit[edit]

I had to remove part of the addition to fursuiter.org. We can't claim to know people's motivations, we can only report on their actions and words. --Rat 20:58, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Exclusion Request[edit]

I would like a personal exclusion for the page http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Kaffa_Wolf

Thank you for your time. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kaffawolf (talkcontribs) .

The article will be excluded within 24 hours, unless there is an objection. If you wish to revert this exclusion in the future, please contact myself or any other administrator. --GreenReaper(talk) 05:32, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Looks like a routine non-controversial request; I have no objection. Also, check WikiFur:PE if you haven't already. --Rat 05:36, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

(Copied from User Talk:GreenReaper) Firstly, go pick someone else's personal exclusion as a basis for your debate against Wikifur's policies. I am a terrible example for your argument because I am NOT notable. I am tired of people like you usurping my right to be left alone. If you're looking for someone to harass about this, http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/FishyBoner is an excellent example of someone who should be included. Secondly, I am not asking for the pages about the things I created, TexasFurs.org & fursuiter.org, to be deleted. They will continue to exist to document my "contributions", so again, you have an invalid argument and you're just here to cause me more grief. Thirdly, to the first denier, ask around the local community, they'll laugh at you if you claim I started anything. The forum I ran existed for only two years, the current one is over 5 years old. Before TexasFurs.org, there was a very large and healthy mailing list, TAFF. I haven't done squat with anyone local in almost two years. I have moved on with my life, please stop living in the past. Lastly, Wikifur is a great resource and I believe this personal exclusion policy is one key to helping keep it neutral. --Kaffawolf 17:54, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

From the tone of your reply, it would appear that you have taken offense where none was intended, and I am truly sorry if this is the case. Nothing in my comments was intended to "harrass" or to "usurp [your] right to be left alone." The point that I was trying to make was simply that, presuming that Kaffa Wolf is not your name IRL, there is nothing in the article that could be used by anyone to contact you or identify you. Regardless of the scope of your contributions, you participated actively in the fandom using that fan name. I was asking to preserve that legacy, not as an insult to you, but so that newer furs will have a resource to turn to when your name comes up in conversation with an old-timer one day. I know I've certainly used it in that way myself. I agree that WikiFur is a great resource, and I'm not disputing the need for the exclusion policy in some cases. I'm just pointing out that historical accuracy is another thing that it should be known for. Again, I am sorry if my post offended you. It was intended solely in the spirit of all good wiki media: that the community owns the resource, and therefore the community engages in thoughtful discussion about major changes. --CodyDenton 18:19, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
