Hey Tom, glad you finally made it on WikiFur. :-) --Dmuth 17:57, 24 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Hi there, I'm messaging you since I thought I should let you know that generally on the wiki it is prefered that if you wish an article about yourself in the main name space. It should contain some content its self, rather than linking directly to your User Page.

The content currently on your User page is perfectly acceptable for stub person article, so I recommend copying it to the main article you made and re-title it as Tomhowling as the furry name is generally preferred as it is probably more well known.

You can then also use the Contributor templates to link between the article and your user/talk pages. Check out WikiFur:Boiler_Plate_Text for help on using templates and details of the contributor and contributor user page templates.

Finally if you want an example a good article page and user page by one editor, go take a look at the article and User page of AX.

Hope this all is clear, feel free to contact my talk page if you need more help. Happy Editing. :) --Nidonocu - talk Nidonocu 19:31, 24 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Strokes and petting[edit]

Many thanks for schooling me on the polite way to create personal pages. I'm fairly inexperienced at Wiki stuff, and really appreciate it. Let me know if you think anything should be changed at tomhowling or Tom Howling. Cheers, --Tom Howling 22:43, 24 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Looks great to me. :) Its always best to assume new users are just inexprienced rather than trying to make a mess. Even if it appears odd or strange like a possible troll action, cause they simply might not be aware of what they are doing. Assume Good Faith is the expression. Best of luck with your future articles. -Nidonocu - talk Nidonocu 01:02, 25 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Correction to the Baked Fur article[edit]

Hey, MKerris. I believe you put a comment in the Baked Furs article that was intended for the discussion page. I moved it there. Cheers, --Tom Howling 19:15, 19 Oct 2005 (UTC)

I think that comment was actually written by Aerowolf, as I only did some small sentence restructuring to the page - just thought I should point it out, important or not. I do agree in that it fits much better on the discussion page, however. :) --MKerris 21:25, 19 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Dead Dog[edit]

Please allow time for discussion before merging articles. See Talk:Dead Dog for the very beginnings of discussion, and why I think merging Deaddog! isn't at all apporpriate. -- Sine 23:16, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
