Extinctioners edits[edit]

Please stop linking in your fan fic as if it were actual Extinctioners material. Your self-created characters should be distinguished from "real" work of the original creator that appears in the comic book. --Lynn Onyx 01:50, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

The only Extinctioners character I've created is SGT Kratt. Miki, Rokko, and Akina are all Shawn's characters. And if you want to get technical Kronis is technically a fan character that appeared in a fan comic.
There's no easy way to tell this, however. As the characters have not appeared, is it appropriate to create links on them? Also, do you have permission to upload these images? One last thing: Please sign your comments with --~~~~, thanks. --Lynn Onyx 02:09, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
I'm sorry but the pages you have been uploading do not have enough info (Miki, Rokko, and Akina) - RVDDP2501 02:12, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
If they're canon characters, leave them be. I put stub marks on it and as we find out more information about them, then we'll expand their articles.--Kendricks Redtail 02:15, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
Because not much has been seen of them outside of the end of Issue 15 (Miki and Rokko). Akina is on the drawing board and it says that she will make an appearance in an issue. As said on the Shawn's deviantart gallery.
Characters which haven't appeared probably don't need entries, do they? If there's nothing to write about them, they could simply be named. If they haven't appeared, are they really characters in the comic? They may not even appear in the same form or concept when they do appear, or they could even not appear at all.
Agreed. However just leave the articles for the time being.--Kendricks Redtail 02:29, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
As for Sgt. Kratt, I think you should keep your own furry!Sue character out of listings of canonical characters. --Lynn Onyx 02:18, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Oh, and SGT Kratt... Shawntae enjoyed the comic and liked it. I should say that it missed being printed in an issue by several months, only because of length and prior arrangements with other artists, and the fact that he had too many open story lines that he could not fit another one in.

Sorry, but doesn't make it canonical. Everyone likes Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. It's praised as one of the best Batman stories of all time, but guess what? It's not canon. It has no place in the official Batman universe timeline. In similar notes, yours is like that. It could be Shawntae's favorite fanfic ever, but until he declares it actually happened within the universe, then it's just a Mary Sue fanfic. ^_^ I don't mind you writing articles about your story and your characters, but don't try and squeeze it in a canonical list. ^_^ --Kendricks Redtail 02:29, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
This discussion should be taking place on Talk:Extinctioners, as it pertains mostly to the content of that page. Hyenafur, please sign your talk-page posts with four tildes (~~~~) - this makes it easier to see who's talking. Thank you. --GreenReaper(talk) 02:31, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Thank you[edit]

Welcome and thank you for contributing to Wikia!

We are an open experiment in free culture, in community collaboration. We believe Wikia is the next step in the evolution of non-proprietary culture. Our goal is to build the best source of content for topics you care about and to let you meet people who share your passions and interests. By writing, translating, or helping edit on wikia, you can share your knowledge and opinions and inform the world.

Your work belongs to you, and the free license guarantees you that we will always listen to your concerns and manage the site in ways that benefit you. If we screw up, the communities leave, which means we have to treat you right.

There are a few founding principles here, and if you are familiar with Wikipedia, you will already know a lot of these.

  • We encourage a culture of open and respectful dialog
  • Respect each other: Wikians understand that there is a difficult and delicate balance to be achieved between having communities with healthy internal dialog and dissent, while at the same time keeping the discussion kind and loving, so that trolls and vandals do not dominate the culture
  • Respect the mission statement of each Wikia: Each Wiki community can and should have a mission statement which is modified over time by the community and that mission statement should be respected. Wikipedia works with a core mission statement that includes Neutrality as a central principle. Wikias can and do operate on different principles. If a Wikia is set up for advocacy of some particular point of view, respect from people who disagree with that point of view is primarily about launching a separate community, rather than disrupting the one which exists.
  • Don't bite the newbies: Communities grow by being open, and stay healthy by being open. It is important to greet newcomers with kindness and friendliness, assuming good faith.

Where on Earth did THIS come from? <o.o> --Kendricks Redtail 02:17, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
Seems to be automated, somehow. --Lynn Onyx 02:19, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
No, it was inserted by Hyena. I'm just trying to figure why.--Kendricks Redtail 02:23, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Image filenames[edit]

Thank you for contributing. Could you please reupload Image:1-378avn.png and Image:Charactersheet2.jpg with meaningful filenames and with licensing information? Appreciated. -- 21:42, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

They're working fine for me. --Karl
