Kitch's name references both Kitchkinet, a character in the ceremonies of the Boy Scouts of America honor society The Order of the Arrow, and the Yiddish "kitsch", meaning "delightfully tacky" or "quirky yet commonplace". Kitch tends to live up to both of these descriptors.
