I am a social psychologist and anthrozoologist, who along with some of my students and in association with three other professors have been conducting scientific studies of the furry fandom at Anthrocon since 2006. The first study, titled Furries from A to Z (Anthropomorphism to Zoomorphism)was published in the fall of 2008 in the scholarly journal Society & Animals. I am not a furry, but I am very interested in Human-animal relationships and interactions and furries are particularly interesting in that they blend/merge/integrate the human animal with various other species of animals. My more boring day to day existence is as a psychology professor at Niagara County Community College in Sanborn NY (near Niagara Falls).
