Downspin's Lemma is a logical proposition which can be used to show Furry's Law. This proposition states:

A furry caught contradicting his prior statements will deny his responsibility for the prior statements made.

Thus, when a furry is caught by his own words, he will deftly turn them aside. This proposition can be proven by observing the accompanying cry of 'libel' or 'cease and desist' letters, or claims of mental illness toward those who remember the prior statements.

History[edit]

Downspin's Lemma is named after dramatician Chakat Downspin. It was first derived in 2005 from the Xydexx retribution principle.
