Tom Fischbach (born in 28 July 1987),[1] on is an Korean-American artist who lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.

Webcomic[edit]

Tom Fischbach is the creator and artist of the comic Twokinds. Illustrated in a manga style, according to Fischbach it was partially inspired by the discrimination he experienced as a Korean American attending a predominantly white school;[2] the comic shows races that traditionally don't trust each other working together.

Tom Fischbach and furry[edit]

Tom does not appear to take much interest in the culture of the furry fandom, despite the majority of his deviantART gallery being anthropomorphic. Tom Fischbach has gone as far as to say that he is not a furry,[citation needed] although it appears he is aware that the majority of his fan base consists of furries.

His webcomic Twokinds won the 2010 Ursa Major Award for Best Anthropomorphic Graphic Story.

Trivia[edit]

He is the older brother of YouTube Internet personality Mark "Markiplier" Fischbach.[3]
