Thipher (born June 12, 1984)[1] is a furry artist and fursuiter who lives in Auckland, New Zealand.[2] His fursona is a gray and white rabbit.[3]


Thipher was born and raised in a small town in West Texas, U.S.A.[1] After high school, he spent a few years living in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and later moved to New Zealand.

Thipher was on the staff of FurcoNZ 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2014, acting as head chef of the kitchen team. He has been in various fur meets and conventions during this period, including FurcoNZ in 2017. Thipher is currently studying software engineering at Massey University.


Thipher's sona is a gray and white rabbit of an age closely representing his own. Notable features include his gray hair covering the green eyes and black outlines around the inside of the ears, along with the white content of the muzzle exceeding above his eye line. The toes are white with the rest of the hindpaws being gray. His character could be referred to as joyous and parodical at times.


His fursuit was made by Tiggy Workz, which includes a partial consisting of a head, paws and a tail. Occasionally ribbons are used to suspend his ears upwards, referred to Thipher as a remedy for his "ear-ectile dysfunction". The bottom component of the fursuit's mouth is held by his chin, enabling opening and closing of the mouth. There is no air conditioning present so dancing is made difficult but not impossible. The 4-toed paws uses a scooba shoe base. Casual clothing usually goes along with the suit, including jeans and a t-shirt, however he may equip a normal shirt on occasions.

Personal life[edit]

Thipher is known to go travelling, especially in Europe and North America where he was born. Cooking is a finesse he has built up over the years of work experience, notably being utilised in FurcoNZ for 3 years in a row at one point. Brewery is a hobby undertaken at respectable volumes.
