The Loghouse Nest is a novel by Louise de Kiriline Lawrence, with illustrations by Thoreau MacDonald. It was first published in 1945, by Reginald Saunders in Toronto.[1] It was reprinted by Natural Heritage/Natural History Inc., also of Toronto, in 1988, with the ISBN 092047497.[2] The "strongly anthropomorphic" story is primarily about Peet, a black-capped chickadee.[2]
