[edit] Characters
- Evan Newton Li[2] (Ashley calls him Fig[1], a nickname Evan doesn't like[3]) is angsty, anorexic and possibly asexual(However, since Evan is based off of the writier himself, we could be seeing him having a homosexual relationship).[4][5][6] Evan said he had a crush once, but is interrupted before he can give any details[7] Evan is athletic and a little smarmy, but generally nice. Part of his eating disorder stems from his childhood, where he was an obese teenager.
- Ryan McKinney[1] is a feline, Evan's friend and roommate. Overprotective at times, sometimes at the expense of himself.
- Maynard Kozlowski[1] is a nerdy friend of Evan and Ryan's, Maynard enjoys anime, beer, and the occasional campuswide squirt gun match. Fancies himself an art purist, but his snobby exterior is mostly show.
- Laura Ashley Carlyle[2] (prefers being called Ashley)[2] is a rabbit who has a thing for Evan, and likes to annoy him by calling him "Fig."
- Teri Gaines is Ryan's girlfriend, and proof that opposites attract. Her friendliness offsets his dreary outlook on life. Enjoys photography.
