The Cunning Little Vixen was a play/opera first performed in 1924 and was written by the Czech composer Leos Janacek.

Janacek adapted the play from from the 1920 serialized novella, Liška Bystrouška (Vixen Sharp-Ears), by Rudolf Těsnohlídek. Liska, one of the main character's from Richard T. Matheson's Tails From the Mynarski Forest derives her name from Těsnohlídek's novella.[1]

The theme of Eurofurence 9, "Cunning Little Vixens" referred to this opera.
