[edit] Fursonas

Voice's original fursona was TheOrangeFox, a fox with burnt-orange fur, green eyes, white hair, and a white tip to his tail.

[edit] Summary Of TheOrangeFox

Orange tended to wear only pants, though when wearing clothing he prefered hoodies or dress shirts of one form or another. He also went goth once in a while. After AnthroCon 2009, he took to wearing a red spiked collar and pink-and-red striped arm socks that covered most of his forearms up to his elbow. Over the years he has tended to wear anything from a trench coat, to noble wear, to battle armor. (it really depended on what he was doing, and who was drawing him)

On October 24th, 2009, Orange changed over to be a folf (fox/wolf hybrid). The wolf part was a red wolf and the fox was a standard red fox. Though he has come out as a folf, Orangefox has always been a folf, as his brother (Fenrir) has always been a wolf, and it assumed that their parents were a fox and wolf, and both siblings exhibit one trait of their parents. (in this case, the father being a fox, and the mother being a wolf) However, it is only now that he has decided to make his status of a folf official.

[edit] Summary Of Voice

In 2010, Orange became Voice, a spider-folf. (50% Spider, 25% Fox, 25% Wolf) This fursona came into being after he realized that, over the course of time, he was slowly growing away from his original fursona. After a lot of consideration, he decided to create a character that combined the three animals that he liked and felt a connection to, and name it after a character from a Necromunda story set in the Warhammer 40k universe. His appearance came about with a distinct look at creating a character that was part spider, and actually looked like he was part spider, something he had noticed wasn't normally the case on FA. Voice as a name was also chosen because at the time, Tarl was heading back into writing, something he had given up in his childhood and now wanted to come back to.

Voice tends to not wear clothing as he finds it too restricting to his movements. He has eight limbs, the standard four (two legs, two arms) as well as four arachnid limbs that can be retracted into fleshy sheaths in his back. (the biology for this is just bizarre, so just go with it) He has two coat colours, a summer coat that is predominantly browns with black markings on his upper thighs, waist, and shoulders, and a winter coat, which has the same markings in black, but is a dark grey colour.

He does indeed have venom, and it can either be one that paralysis for a short time, or a necrotic venom if he's pissed and wants to hurt his target. He can also spin webs, the glands are located under his two tails which act as spinnerets when he needs to produce webbing.

Voice as a character has a timeline alongside Orange's, and has effectivly been written into certain events within Orange's life. He fought with Orange when Orangefox was a mercenary travelling from planet to planet with a team of mercenaries, he was there when Orange got married to Villi, and has appeared in a couple of stories written on commission for other furs.

As to his own history, Voice's life is pretty much unknown and unwritten. Besides his cameos in stories or rpgs featuring Orange, he basically is a blank slate. All that is really known about his character is that as a reflection of Tarl at this point in his life, he is far more mature, darker, and a vast story teller. Where Orange tended to head after any piece of tail he could get drawn with, Voice has only had one partner, a tegu lady named Sunder-Lane. (Though that relationship has ended, it has left its marks on the Voice's character.)

[edit] Real life

In real life, Voice moved to Edmonton for schooling, where he gained a degree at the University of Alberta. He later moved to Calgary to be with Nwy Creirwy, who ended the relationship nine months later. Since then he has made progress within the Calgary fandom and made a fair number of friends within the fandom.

Voice has been in and out of the fandom since his start in it around the time of Gen Con '04. This love hate relationship with the fandom came to an end as he got back into it because Nwy. Through her, he got involved in the Edmonton furry fandom which not only opened his eyes to the fandom, but to a darker side of it as well. Since moving to Calgary, he has been making a fair amount of headway within the local fandom, as well as the provincial fandom. As one of the permanent hosts of Calgary's Yap & Draws, an event that currently tops it's attendance at 50 furries, he tries to create a welcoming environment for new furries to enter into the fandom, and hopefully avoid the 'unique' way he entered into it his first furry event.

He is also a moderator for the Alberta Furry Forum, and has been a guest on the local furry podcast Unfurled.

Voice was also declared the 'Furry Pope' at Furthest North '07, though this was more in jest than serious. He has contemplated writing a 'Furry Bible' at times, though this has yet to see anything resembling a rough idea.
