I think the preferred means of linking to a particular journal is http://username.livejournal.com/ rather than http://user.livejournal.com/username -- they changed it a while back to prevent a security issue caused by login cookies coming from the same domain as user-editable (and potentially-malicious) content. The latter redirects to the former, but I think foo.livejournal.com is the canonical thing to link to. --Riismo 07:35, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
