Template:Correct title/doc

Simply add the tag Template:Tl2 at the top of a page (and optionally, at the top of its talk page).

For issues with the (#) sign, pass the Template:Para parameter:

The title of this article is incorrect due to technical limitations. The correct title is C# (programming language).

For issues with any of (< > [ ] { }), pass the Template:Para parameter:

{{Correct title|Benzo[a]pyrene|reason=bracket}}

The title of this article is incorrect due to technical limitations. The correct title is Benzo[a]pyrene.

For issues with :, pass the Template:Para parameter:

{{Correct title|DK: King of Swing|reason=:}}

The title of this article is incorrect due to technical limitations. The correct title is DK: King of Swing.

The template can also be used without a reason, when produces:

The title of this article is incorrect due to technical limitations. The correct title is Correct title.
