Tapewolf, also known as DOUG the Eagle, is a computer programmer, musician, and writer who lives in the United Kingdom. He uses a likeness of Jakob Pettersohn, his wolf incubus character, as a fursona.

He is a prominent member of the DMFA forum and is an administrator of The Clockwork Mansion forums, which hosts DMFA's forum.[1]
His activities have included:-
- organising the DMFA Radio Project.[2]
- writing two stories set in the DMFA world (The Chronicles of Jakob Petterson and The Future History of Jakob Petterson)
- writing and coloring the webcomic Project Future, which is based on The Future History of Jakob Petterson.

Under the name DOUG the Eagle, he has released four albums with a fifth in progress. His music has included songs based upon the webcomics Dan and Mab's Furry Adventures, The Foxfire Chronicles and Gaming Guardians.[3]

He has written many video game walkthroughs where he abuses bugs and game features for humorous effect. These have included the Ultima series, System Shock, Deus Ex, Arx Fatalis, the Thief series, Morrowind, and, most recently, Oblivion.
