I would like to state for the record...[edit]

That everyone here knows that Yiffy Yaffle/Wolfee Darkfang is a dude in real life, and should be addressed as such. I know this is supposed to reflect whatever fantasy world he resides in, but not stating his real gender, in my opinion, is a disservice to readers.

My source backing this up is a YouTube video of himself uploaded 08/07/2009 - —The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talkcontribs) .

As a general rule, people here are free to represent themselves as whichever gender they choose to identify with, and I know for a fact that there are articles on the site about persons who are non-op transgendered. There might conceivably be situations where we would judge it to be in the public interest to disclose someone's physical gender despite their wishes, but unless a good case can be made that Wolfee is one of those exceptional situations, Wolfee is free to refer to her/himself as she/he chooses.
I won't revert your edits, but would defend Wolfee's right to do so if she/he chooses. --mwalimu 16:53, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
"I would like to state for the record that everyone here knows that Yiffy Yaffle/Wolfee Darkfang is a dude in real life, and should be addressed as such",... No, no really. Like many facets in life (i.e Transgenderism or fantasy), it's up to the article's user's how he/she/hir/it likes to be referred in paper, electronic media or real life,... and not a bunch of electronic bits... - Spirou 20:25, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
I agree with Spirou and Mwalimu here. Wikifur admins has stated time and time again by those who wish to "edit" my article to reflect my real life gender, that we are free to represent ourselves as whatever gender we wish. It is my fursona this article is about. not my real life self. It may contain things i did, but i did it as wolfee darkfang not as my real identity. --wolfeedarkfang 23:05, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
The initial user (IP used the gender issue to start a thread war. Edit on Wolfee page about his gender has been changed - Spirou 01:54, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
I just have to say that this doesn't really look like a thread war...-- 05:30, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

Wolfie Lies II[edit]

What pisses me off about this situation is that Wolfee and Company are scrambling over each other to cover the facts from going public, even though they are way too late. So what do they do? They claim an impostor made it when the BeastForum admins themselves testify about Wolfee's efforts to cover up the account. Want proof? Here's some proof. I'm sick and tired of WikiFur's cooperation with Wolfee as opposed to actually presenting the facts like a real wiki should. Unlike Lt. Daniel Kaffee, we readers CAN handle the truth. -- KentuckyFriedGunman 17:03 PDT, 9 April 2010

This shit again? It's been said a billion times that account was created and owned by a troll during a raid on that site. Names on that site can be changed. That is why the link to the user page is a code rather then a actual user name. I also want to point out that KFC here is a troll from youtube who has refused to listen to logic about the DMCA claim crap. I even gave him a copy of my claim ID for the registration of my copyright of wolfee darkfang direct from the ECO but he still refused to accept the fact that i own the copyright and kept spouting his lies.--wolfeedarkfang 00:16, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
That's KFG to you, good sir. When I "trolled" you on YouTube, I pointed out that the purpose of your copyright registration was not to protect your work from bad people, but to silence any voices speaking against you, fur or non-fur, via abuse of YouTube's broken DMCA report system. The exact reason why I attack you on Blogger and YouTube is because of your actions in this and similar situations, labeling any people standing up to you as an "anti-fur troll". That's defined as fascism, and it is people like you that give the fandom a name and reputation that are much to be desired. Back to the subject at hand: I would love further elaboration on how the testimony of the BeastForum admins themselves were faked. Finally, spell my damn name right. I hope you can spell a three letter acronym.- KentuckyFriedGunman 18:32 PDT, 9 April 2010
There's an archived page of all the information you have wished and had posted about this matter. So the Wikifur "protecting" Wolfee and Company is a load of bullhockey,... We don't have the time, nor the purpose, nor the inclination of taking sides. And I would like to ask both of you to take this somewhere else, please. - Spirou 02:12, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

May I have permission to use the SL Furries logo in a license template for Second Life snapshots used on Wikifur? My thought at the moment is to use the (C) on the left of the text and the SL Furries logo on the right. Thank you! --GingerM (Leave me a message) 02:03, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

They are free to use. For now my Out-of-SL hosting for them will be [DropBox]. Here are the images below.

[SLFur Logo] Here is the logo. I lost the PSD version so this is a PNG.

[SLFur Sticker] This was created to be used in a info booth i had in Serenity Woods but has since been removed.

[SLFurBanner] This was for personal use for my SL Home which had a medieval theme to it.

Pronoun usage[edit]

For most of the article, "she/her/hers" pronouns are used; towards the end, however, there's a sudden change to "he". For now I'm going to change "he" to "she", but I also want to post seeking clarification on this, in case this is an example of someone who is male in real life playing as a female character, in which case, "she" should only be used when discussing the character. (Oh, and I'm not using "male in real life" to include trans women or any similar group, in case anyone got confused by meaning, and infer things I believe to convey an inaccurate fact.) :) --Equivamp - talk 07:32, 12 July 2015 (EDT)
