Uh, the logo image is broken all of a sudden?
should this be added to Category:Mature websites, or does "mature story archive" cover that?
- It didn't, but it does now - added it as a subcategory of mature websites. --GreenReaper(talk) 23:31, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
Is yiffstar working for anyone else?--Foxpaws 00:16, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
"On November 10th 2006, Yiffstar closed down temporarily to relocate to a different webhost. It is unknown when they will reopen."
Alright, question solved.--Foxpaws 08:25, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
The forums are working now. ISD 14:00, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi guys. Just me popping in here with my two cents. I noticed that in some areas of the article, his name is 'Tourmal' instead of 'Toumal.' =P Also, on the subject of merging this article with Yiffchat, I think it should be in a separate section. Yiffchat is a subdivision of Yiffstar, so it would make sense to have it as an independent section in the Yiffstar article. Ryu Wolf 12:44, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Ryu Wolf
Went to take care of some "personal things" today and was shocked to see that Yiffstar has gone offline! Apparently it is being converted into sofurry.com. --Tabbicus 22:39, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- This is a fall from grace that's very saddening. chat.yiffstar.com now redirects to a Wiki I've never even heard of, and the main site now has a chat that's so basic, it makes IRC look attractive. Because even IRC has the ability to privately chat to people.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 22:50, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm. So do we merge the two articles? SoFurry is just so different from Yiffstar and offers different services that I'm hesitant to do so. Perhaps it would be best just to mothball this page and refer back to it where appropriate. --GreenReaper(talk) 16:38, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
- I'm on the fence about it myself. If they had either changed the look/features of the site or changed the name of it without doing the other, I'd advocate keeping it as one page (with a move/redirect if necessary) but since they did both at the same time. All in all, I'm somewhat leaning toward keeping a "historical" page about Yiffstar, with a redirect to SoFurry for anything "current". --mwalimu 23:44, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
