IM info removed

I consider IM details to be a tad too personal for general articles; the criteria is the immediacy of it, and the likelyhood of "flooding" the connection, rather like the problems of posting someone's home phone number in a Wikipedia article. Email, being a somewhat delayed system with dozens of easily available filtering options for every client, is a bit safer to post. -- Siege 03:30, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

Good Thinking!

References or needs pruning

This probably should be pruned back a bit. At the very least needs references. WikiFur shouldn't be a reservoir for drama. If noone else is writing about the drama, then it's probably not that important, or we're not getting both sides of the story. --Rat 18:34, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

A lot of the references here are somewhat poor, being things that can't be clicked on so we can check for ourselves. However, I can confirm that the part about Ch'marr banning Timon B from the Ozfurry mailing list is correct, and that Ch'marr did indeed make a post on Ozfurry about it.--Higgs Raccoon 00:12, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Who the hell is Higgs Raccoon, and why is he posting all my life steps in the fandom, lol. --Timon b 11:43, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
I am one of the administrators here on WikiFur. I find it odd you think I've been posting "all (your) life steps in the fandom" - the articles history indicates my edits to this article have been few and trivial. And the above comment was simply comfirming part of the addition to the article made by IP 124.171.241.96. --Higgs Raccoon 00:39, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
cool heh --Timon b 06:22, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
A recent user, Rallye, added a bunch of "references" to various parts of the article. However, none of them contain actual points of reference, they're just small mentions of others (like "Confirmed by Furnet IRC Ops"). These should probably either be removed, or expanded upon with actual quotes/links to quotes. --Natasha Softpaw 20:47, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
This isn't a reservior for drama, nobody's making drama here. This all happened. It's not being disputed. If there's anything to be said about "drama" the Sibe's page needs to be knocked down, too. 67.188.67.135 08:28, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, the Sibe page needs to be chopped down a bunch. One of the reasons it's stood up so long is that it has many solid references(which this article doesn't). --Rat 10:04, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Im an Admin on the Furstralia forums and I can confirm he has been banned from there Foxy Malone
Foxy Malone is known for her drama and crap on Furstralia, and banned me after luring me into a trap to have me banned by postage negative comments about me, i stand up for myself and i get banned, hey Foxy Malone have you found my other EIGHT accounts yet?.. #@$%^%&^ --Timon b 11:46, 11 June 2011 (EDT)
It's never a goid idea to admit you have sock puppets. Two things could happen:
  1. You get an I.P. ban
  2. Admins get paranoid and start banning everybody, and people get pissed at you.

It's all good i don't use my ip's when i access the forum, i have many vpn accounts, and many open wireless AP's in my area that i use when it comes to visiting Furstralia, and Furnet, and they already ban people who arn't me which just makes it funnier. --Timon b 03:45, 12 June 2011 (EDT)

Proxies

I do NOT use proxies to evade furnet bans, Sure i know ive got around over 800 Klines but not with proxies, my ban evade methods consist of using shell accounts all around the globe, though furnet ircops have fixed that little loophole, they have also made it so you can't use most cgi irc clients to :-) --Timon b 06:21, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Animated gifs

Please try to avoid animated gifs in articles - they tend to be an eyesore that don't improve articles much. Perhaps you could use it on your User page where standards are more lax?--Higgs Raccoon 18:37, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
