What does this have to do with Furry? 66.88.135.150

Well, the seagull is playing a banjo, which arguably anthropomorphises him. --Higgs Raccoon 19:55, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
It might anthropomorphise him, but it has nothing to do with Furry. There's a gazillion mascots out there, and unless they're either created by Furries or are directly related to Furry events, they have nothing to do with Furry. 66.88.135.150
I guess it depends on the eternal question of how you define Furry. If you accept the very broad definition that it's anything involving any form of anthropomorphic animal, then this seagull would count as Furry. --Higgs Raccoon 20:59, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
It seems there's a fairly easy acid test for "furry or not": was it created BY Furries FOR Furries? This filters out a lot of the obfuscation around what is and isn't furry. That doesn't mean Pete the Banjo-Strummin' Seagull can't be of interest TO Furries, and he's obviously anthropomorphic, but he's not Furry per se. 66.88.135.150
