Please note that I do NOT have the Yahoo! groups e-mails stored, nor the Instant Messages nor private e-mail messages I received from Klaus to back up the information I've presented because I lost all that in hard drive crashes (and did not have the resources to have the information retrieved, nor did I -- shame on me -- have backups); its all just from my own memory. Point of interest

It is mentioned in this article that KD recieved a 'cease and desist' notice from the companies his art is based on. I personally doubt this happened, it would be precedent setting, as to my knowledge there has never been such a notice served. Ever. The general idea is that companies like fanfiction, because it promotes the origional product.
