Furry Renaissance[edit]

The term "Furry Renaissance" was actually used by me, not the Burned Furs. It is in reference to furry becoming the Next Best Thing in the future, not a mythical time in the past.

Also, the Burned Furs weren't around in 1993. —Xydexx 21:12, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

The term they used was "The Renaissance," not "The Furry Renaissance," and did they indeed used as an alternative to the term "Golden Age of Furry Fandom" ("...Going back to the Renaissance days of the fandom...," and mostly on their BF message board and IRC channel.) (*sigh*) I didn't say there was no "Furry Renaissance" (and doing a search for it brings enough hits to be added as an alternate definition for the "Golden Age of Furry Fandom,")... I'm just pointing out that there was also a BF term for it, "The Renaissance," so there is no reason for why both can't be included in the article, or why you just removed your term variant Spirou 23:46, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
Well, if you're going to include "Furry Renaissance" in the article, I'd appreciate it if you didn't misdefine it. Also, do you have any references backing up Burned Furs using this term, or is it just something else they decided to swipe from me? —Xydexx 01:08, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
