why is this page called "gabrielle alexandria" and not deep space dragons? that makes 6000 times more sense. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tropicalpeanut (talkcontribs) .

As a general rule, WikiFur does not host main-space articles about imaginary species which have not been used in published works by the creator (or anyone else), on the basis that we cannot maintain an article on the topic. There is also likely to be very little interest in such an article. The intention was apparently to convert this to an article about the author; however, the process was not completed. I have moved it back for now; however, we will have to consider whether it is appropriate to keep at all. --GreenReaper(talk) 23:35, 26 January 2012 (EST)
This page also appears to be a copyright violation, at least in part. As noted in the warning beneath the edit box, copyrighted work must not be submitted to WikiFur without the author's permission, as it places their words under a license that gives other people the right to modify and copy the work further. --GreenReaper(talk) 23:45, 26 January 2012 (EST)

Well how do I prove I got her approval for the uploading? I mean I didnt think se would mind but I can go get her permission if youd like. ANd shes also currently in the process of writing a few "short stories" for these guys. She does have a pretty good fan base going here to. If youd like I can link you to the people that have Oc's made from the dragons, as well as the group page on deviantart. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tropicalpeanut (talkcontribs) .

Those would be suitable additions to the article, yes. As for permission, it would be best if it were posted under the artists' account, or emailed to my nickname [one word] @ The notice of permission should make it clear that the content on the specified pages is licensed under the CC-BY-SA 3.0 (the copyright of WikiFur). It might be more suitable to select individual facts from the original documents, and link to the sources as references. --GreenReaper(talk) 00:26, 27 January 2012 (EST)

so in stupid people language that means what? XD Im dumb please simplify that for me...

When you put words here, it lets anyone, anywhere, do just about anything with them (as long as they let other do the same with their version of the words). We need to know, directly from the writer, that they understand that and are OK with it. It would probably be better to avoid that entirely, and just write a summary here in your own words of the most important facts, linking to what she wrote to back it up. --GreenReaper(talk) 01:41, 27 January 2012 (EST)

Thank you Lol. Gabrielle wants to know if theres an email she can reach you at so that she can let you know herself, that shes ok with this.

Yes, the email address I mentioned above. And again, you should provide links to examples of this species being used by other people, otherwise it is likely that this topic will still have to reside on an article about its creator. --GreenReaper(talk) 12:07, 28 January 2012 (EST)
Ok I put in the adress for deviantart's fan page/group however not all hte people that have one are in that group. thats just hte example you asked for.
Why is there four deviantART link examples going back to Gabrielle Alexandria? - Spirou 00:08, 30 January 2012 (EST)
The deviantART's DS Dragons page is only four months old, with one contributor. There is more data on the Wikifur article than the fan page. Another "springboard" article - Spirou 00:13, 30 January 2012 (EST)

Is there a decision on this article?. Delete it, or create a page with the creator and merge? - Spirou 22:18, 31 January 2012 (EST)

Well Spirou, members can contribute to, its like a Hierarchy and contributor is just one step below co-founder. Not every one that joins can get that sort of power. And alot of people ask about the dragons, Itd be so much easier to link them to a wiki page than sit there and explain it over and over. Alot of people cant acsess deviantart from their computers that are older modles and dont load the pages right. So again itd be SO MUCH easier to link them to a wiki page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tropicalpeanut (talkcontribs) .
I wasn't talking to contributing to the edit, or able or not to access what from where, but the set rule that non-notorious, in this case, species, can not be an standalone article outside it's creator one in Wikifur. So the question is asked of either delete it then, or create a Gabrielle Alexandria article were it DsD article would be merged to - Spirou 23:39, 1 February 2012 (EST)
No ones going to be looking for her they are going to be LOOKING for the deep space dragons. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talkcontribs) .
Once again: "the set rule that non-notorious, in this case, species, can not be an standalone article outside it's creator one in Wikifur" - Spirou 14:57, 2 February 2012 (EST)
Starting an article on Gabrielle Alexandria and merging, as it seems that this discussion is not bringing results - Spirou 14:57, 2 February 2012 (EST)
If they're looking for it, they'll get here. We have a redirect set up and the term is mentioned prominently here (and not really anywhere else on the net, which is kind of the point). --GreenReaper(talk) 03:02, 9 February 2012 (EST)

So, The artist has posted literature about the history and story line of this species, should it be mentioned here? Shes posted everything for their creation to some story line including vortex, the main dragon....
