Talk:Furry Art Pile
Founded by disgruntled ex-FA users?
I noticed FAP's registration page describes all the ways their site is different, and by implication better, than other sites. Other sites that happen to operate exactly like Fur Affinity. Coincidence? YOU DECIDE! Octan 23:14, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

The recent edit to FAP article states that MyFursona would potentially be taking ownership of FAP. When asked about the MyFursona transfer, Ekigyuu denied the claim in his own journal stating, "...I'm not handing it over to anybody."

- Duly noted with reference. I find it strange that Ekigyuu wouldn't provide an explanation to reopening full access (for, alledgedly, another two weeks, for which I can't find another reference link other than Tori's posts to MyFursona, Fur Affinity forums and his own LJ) after having previously replaced normal access pages with the announcement of the closure on the 27th, originally slated (and still announced) for closure at the end of August. I would like to assume that reopening access to the site is either a gesture of goodwill to the critics of the closure (or the sudden restriction of normal access unless I didn't look around enough on the site), or an extension of the life of the site until it can have a new owner. --RayneVanDunem 07:07, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
