I don't think a link to a video uploaded by an account with an unrelated name, uploaded by an account with no details let alone matching ones (such as name, species, or a website link) is a reference, nor appropriate. -- Sine 23:40, 20 July 2013 (EDT)
- The suit appears to match. Whether the link is appropriate is, of course, a matter of editorial opinion; my concern is that if it supports text in the article, it is appropriate to format it as a reference.
- Not sure why the editor matters - should we allow such content when the subject adds it, but not when others do? Or is the argument that it's more likely to be right if it's uploaded by someone claiming to be the subject? --GreenReaper(talk) 23:52, 20 July 2013 (EDT)
- My wording "uploaded by an account" is refering to the user on the external site. -- Sine 00:19, 21 July 2013 (EDT)
