Talk:Culpeo Fox

"Furry artist"? "fursona"? On Culpeo's DeviantART page, it says she is NOT a furry.

I suggest to delete this article since the artist clearly claimed himself that he is NOT a furry. I believe he wouldn't be all that delighted to see himself here.

Not a Furry[edit]

Culpeo Fox is not a furry.

Quote (Deviantart): Are you a furry/therian/otherkin/insert any fandom? - No. Thank you very much.

I suggest to delete this article. --Snox 17:32, 29 August 2012 (EDT)

I would propose the article stands. This person does have a Fur Affinity presence, and whether they consider themselves a furry or not is not a qualification for what article subjects may be included in the People category. --BlueOtter 00:04, 30 August 2012 (EDT)
She deleted all her pictures on Fur Affinity. She is displeased about this article here and wants it to be deleted, we should respect that. --Snox 07:23, 31 August 2012 (EDT)
Even having a Fur Affinity account is not the requirements for having an article. She isn't going to get anywhere having you request the article be excluded, however; I recommend she come here and make the request herself. Equivamptalk 08:32, 31 August 2012 (EDT)
Please read here --> http://culpeo-fox.livejournal.com/42425.html This should make it clear. Thank you. --Snox 10:25, 31 August 2012 (EDT)

Birth year?[edit]

The wiki page says 1989, but his page on facebook https://www.facebook.com/krawa.cornix.1 says 1979....?

Name[edit]

The Culpeo is not a true fox, according to Wikipedia. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 2601:18d:4701:c4a0:6507:8366:71a7:ee3c (talkcontribs) .

Uh, the Wikipedia article doesn't say that anywhere. --Equivamp - talk 11:14, 9 February 2017 (EST)
The Wikipedia article for culpeo foxes say that they are a species of South American fox. The article for South American fox states "Despite their name, they are not true foxes, but are a unique canid genus, which some somewhat resemble foxes and are named after them." --V. ...oh. --Equivamp - talk 11:33, 9 February 2017 (EST)
Although... it doesn't seem like Category:Fox characters is restricted to true foxes since it also contains gray foxes and Darwin's foxes, among others. --V. CA (talk) 12:16, 9 February 2017 (EST)
