Um, a few suggestions about the title:

  • Why is it named "Conviction Furry Mexico"?
  • The folks who set up the homepage of the convention have given it several names:
    • ConFurtiva
    • Convencion Furry Mexicana
    • Convicción Furtiva México

I think that the "Convicción" that serves as the root etymology for the name of the article is a total misspelling on their part. I'm taking the liberty of redirecting this and the other redirected page to a new-titled page, ConFurtiva. --RayneVanDunem 16:33, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

I've also messaged the webmaster of the linked website with the following:

Is a word play we came up deciding the name of our Con. We stand close to the belief that it requires conviction to stand up and be what you decided to be. In this case, conviction to associate yourself to the term "furry".
The word play was only intended in Spanish, hence any translation would become a significant loss in its meaning.
ConFurMex is the name of the group of people running ConFurtiva. ConFurMex aims to do more activities involved furry gatherings across Mexico than just of ConFurtiva.
Hope that clears it out ^^

Hi, thanks for replying and the clarification. Based on your reply, I'll try to un-redirect the ConFurMex article from this one and make it an article of its own. Luegos dias, and please feel free to lend help on the other article if you can. --RayneVanDunem 01:37, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
