Problem with appropriateness

Just because it is not a fur-specific term does not mean it is not a pertinent term. And yes, it is commonly referred to at furry conventions. --Kitch 22:10, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

The problem I see with it is that it is written as a how-to/lecture rather than an an encyclopedia article. It's proscriptive, not descriptive - it doesn't say how people do things ("X says that he handles con funk by . . ."), it says how the reader should do things. WikiFur shouldn't have an personal opinion on what to do about con crud, just report those of others. I would also imagine it in lowercase, unless there is a reference that suggests otherwise (Google results seems to go with lowercase). --GreenReaper^(talk) 00:42, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

I think we should go the reverse way: merge 6-2-1 rule with Con Funk. I am in favor of a proscriptive page for Con Funk, as it may help some people to have this information here. The merge issue is still outstanding after nearly two years? I vote for merge 6-2-1 in with con funk. I also think the article should lean more toward the origin of the term, since if people really have to consult an online encyclopaedia in order to know (a) how much sleep, (b) how many meals and (c) how many showers a day... --GingerM ^{(Leave me a message)} 06:32, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

I was about to merge this but I don't think it's appropriate, at least not under this title. This article is about con funk and only the last part of the 6-2-1 rule is about that. This information should be summarized in convention and detailed in articles like this on each separate factor - or if there is too much redundancy, in one article about personal upkeep at conventions. --GreenReaper^(talk) 00:07, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
