Article is largely outdated

Plonking this here for now instead of changing it, in respect of this article's former featured article status. Much of this article is now outdated or incorrect due to events in Star Trek since it was written. Notably:

• Caitians are no longer solely based on lions, but can resemble any feline, including domestic cats.
• How canonical Caitians are to Star Trek is not really up for debate at this point. This would seem to render the paragraphs regarding canon and "reconciling the two universes" obsolete.
  • The cat-like aliens at the end of The Voyage Home are widely accepted to be Caitians by primary canon resources (e.g. Memory Alpha).
  • Although The Animated Series was, and still is, considered mostly non-canonical, Caitians have since made notable, non-background appearances in primary canon works, including Star Trek Into Darkness, Lower Decks and Prodigy; and have been referenced in Discovery.
  • M'Ress herself has appeared, in the form of a photograph, in Lower Decks.
  • Unlike the "rule of thumb" referenced in the article, Lower Decks and Prodigy are currently considered to be canon parts of the prime Star Trek universe, despite being animated shows.
• Lower Decks has introduced the Caitian doctor T'Ana as a supporting character, who is arguably a more prominent example of a Caitian than M'Ress. T'Ana has (as of writing) appeared in 19 episodes, compared to M'Ress's 6.

It would thus seem necessary to remove or rewrite a significant amount of the article at this point. I'm happy to make that happen, but it would seemingly require breaking the "don't compromise previous work" rule for former featured articles.
