Deletion debate[edit]
This page appears to be a personal attack. Anyone have a good reason why it shouldn't be deleted? --Duncan da Husky 18:44, 26 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Just replace with a redirect to Eat All Furries, which is what linked to it in the first place. Almafeta 18:46, 26 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- I disagree. If there is no content for a page, it seems less likely that it will ever get content if people are simply redirected to another page. Plus, I was under the impression that redirects are for entries that are identical, just variants in spelling or terminology. I'll go out on a limb and say that Agahnim is not actually an Internet forum, but a person :-) --Duncan da Husky 18:51, 26 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- I too don't see the point of keeping this article around OR replacing it with a redirect. I say we just delete it. --Dmuth 18:57, 26 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Agahnim is certainly involved in the furry community. He is generally noted for being obnoxious, but I think he's also an artist and a writer, if I remember correctly. --Krishva 03:28, 27 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- If that is so, then edit the article to reflect that. Right now, we have an article about a guy who was once banned from a message board that happened to have been created to attack furs. Almafeta 03:36, 27 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- I agree. Edit the article. It doesn't seem to comply all that well with policy or general rules of any Wiki, for that matter. The current article seems rather insulting and done in poor tact. Benjamin 05:56, 5 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Subject participation[edit]
- FYI, the Subject appears to have posted about the article to the WikiFur Livejournal, and invites comment there -- see http://www.livejournal.com/community/wikifur/12640.html . --Tom Howling 09:27, 15 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- I've followed your suggestion that I edit this page. 09:58, 16 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for your extensive edit, which certainly provides a lot more relevant information than the original. --GreenReaper(talk) 20:19, 16 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Medical conditions[edit]
Details about medical conditions of people shouldn't be here, unless the concerned individual agrees. Unci 23:18, 2 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- I agree, although quite often they're the ones contributing them. --GreenReaper(talk) 03:02, 3 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Proposed edits[edit]
I'll propose some edits, so as not to have them immediately reverted if a change is made.
- I don't believe he is active or involved in any dinosaur rpg communities at the moment. He used to be, but no longer is. Although he does sparingly participate at a forum (paleolit.spreebb.com) which might be a good addition to the external links. I do not believe his strictness for detail in the portrayal of dinosaur rpg characters caused him to have enemies either, as there is no evidence to suggest that.
- He and Crow are no longer involved in a relationship, so they do not currently consider themselves one another’s boyfriend and girlfriend.
- In Projects, for his RPG he has listed: "Deinok.com, which was abandoned due to its webmaster breaking into online accounts at other websites belonging to the people who posted there." This should be removed as he never created an RPG on that site.
- The Internet Drama section is where the most disputes come from. I personally don't think it's necessary at all, but if it's to remain intact, it would be the last thing I would propose changes for. Are there any questions on the proposal, or anything needing to be verified? Creeper 02:03, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
Personal attacks from 67.23.6.9[edit]
Regarding the string of personal attacks on this article from User:67.23.6.9, it seems that the IP resolves to oh-strongsville-cadent1-bdg9-12a-z6-9.clvdoh.adelphia.net. Do we know anyone in Strongsville, Ohio that doesn't like this guy? --Douglas Muth 01:23, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- The article probably needs to be trimmed down a bit to remove the drama. We just want to cover this person as he relates to furry; it's what we can check, and what we're interested in. --Rat 06:01, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed, something needs to be done about this article... we should try to contact Agahnim and get a confirm or deny on the content of this article. -- DeVandalizer 13:12, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know if that's going to help. IF he is as unstable as some have suggested, he could just wind up pulling a "Nekobe" on us and making the situation worse. I think researching facts regarding this article would be the most productive course to take. --Douglas Muth 17:16, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- I may be able to assist in updating the outdated parts of the article. I also agree that much of the article should be trimmed down, as it's focus does not appear to be about the subject's relationship with the furry community, but aimed at perpetuating internet drama with certain individuals. Much of that content is disputed and unverified. If anything, I am in contact with many people who are familiar with the subject and could assist in researching facts regarding this article. Creeper 22:31, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- I locked the article thanks to a certain user editing the article in what I see as an effort to stirr up trouble via the content of the edits. He or she also clearly didn't heed the NPOV template which asks that people talk about their planned edits so the community can then discuss how to make the article better and more neutral. It is for these reasons that the page will be locked until an agreement on how to make it more neutral is agreed on in this talk page. --Markus(talk) 07:10, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- Where shall we begin, Markus, as the article is riddled with errors? Spetsnaz
- It is a bit heavy handed I know, but the simple solution is to delete anything you can't actually confirm at least slightly. True the article will become significantly reduced in size but it will also contain fewer inaccuracies. This is one of the few times where I don't mind a little bit of Deletionism if it means the article becomes better. What is the status of trying to contact either the editor(s) or the subject of the article? --Nidonocu - talk 10:46, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- Point well taken, Nidonocu. As per your suggestion I have taken the liberty of deleting the entire "drama" section as not only is in not verifiable but it contains statements that I happen to know are not accurate. Secondarily, it has nothing to do with the 'fur' side of things which is what this wiki is supposed to be about.Spetsnaz

- I've created a copy at Agahnim/Temp. What I'd like to see is that page edited. Once Agahnim/Temp is improved, I'll copy it over and unprotect Agahnim.
- If you do research, I hope it is attributed to some source, for instance, "According to (link to blog entry), so-and-so says such-and-such." It's not that I believe blogs are always true, but at least the reader can judge the source. Also, the reader can check that we have interpreted the blog entry correctly. The wayback machine http://web.archive.org can help if a site is currently down.
- As most of the admins agree, we aren't too interested in the drama; we just want to cover what's related to the furry community. --Rat 16:31, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I decided to unprotect the main article instead of doing the Temp thing. If that doesn't work, we will go back to doing the Temp article. --Rat 16:36, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hello Rat, to avoid any miscommunications I decided that it would be best to follow the suggestion above and delete the error-ridden drama section, which also has nothing to do with furry.Spetsnaz

2007 update[edit]
This article was badly outdated, so I took the liberty of updating it. I see now that during the past year I missed another string of personal attacks against my article, as well as a few edits that were made for less than honest reasons. For example, I’m sure Creeper is aware that Deinok.com was one of the places I created my RPG, as he was the webmaster there—I suspect the reason he removed that part of the article was only because he didn’t want it referring to his own treatment of the people who used that site.
Was everyone here afraid to contact me via e-mail while this was going on? --Agahnim 22:38, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- Afraid? Probably nobody thought to. If you want to keep track of articles, it's kinda assumed that you'll add them to your watchlist and setup email notification. --GreenReaper(talk) 23:57, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- It's mostly the exchange here between DeVandalizer and Douglas Muth which I’m thinking of. DeVandalizer suggested that someone should contact me, but Douglas Muth said this wasn’t a good idea based on what was being said about me in the personal attacks being made here. I would have hoped that the people vandalizing my article wouldn’t have as much influence as that. --Agahnim 00:31, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
Unfriendly[edit]
I don't have a whole lot to contribute, but I wanted to bring up the one sidedness of the article. Comments like:
"Most of his art and writing relates to paleontology, evolution, and the origin of birds, particularly in order to make fun of creationists for their failure to understand these topics."
"Zedekiah, an ignorant and arrogant creationist pastor"
make the article seem biased, and insulting.
I was under the impression that, by Wikipedia's standards, comments like these were supposed to be kept out of Wikis?

Occam’s Razor[edit]
Perhaps trim much of the description of the Occam’s Razor, which seems to be barely relevant to furry? -- Sine 14:38, 6 February 2012 (EST)
