A tailsleeve is a fictional part of clothing which is designed around the bodies of fictional biped furry characters (a trend also known as "furgonomics"). Usually built into pants as a sleeve through which an anthropomorphic character's tail can exit out of the pants (as opposed to the more common depiction of pants and underpants being worn underneath the tail while covering most other extremities), tailsleeves can either be:

  1. slipped up and around the tail before the legsleeves can be entered and slipped around and up the legs, or
  2. opened through a top fly through which the tail can enter and then be enclosed with a zipper, velcro or other clasp[1].
