The first Suit-Up Saturday was held on January 30, 2015, and the event was sponsored by K0mplex, The Disaster Dogs, and Frolic. Attendance was exceptional, DJs Othenio and Caz rocked the dancefloor, and the venue was very happy with the turnout. It was sponsored by BONDESQUE and LEATHER AND LATTE, where two prize baskets were raffled off.

Suit-Up Saturday caters to furries and primarily fursuiters. It also welcomes anyone who participates in animal play fetishwear. The cost of admission is $5 if you are wearing a fursuit, and $7 if you are not. There is also free admission if you come between 9 and 9:15.

Suit Up Saturday is attempting to find a larger venue that would allow 18+ attendance instead of 21+ but it is encountering several issues in the city of Minneapolis. Suit Up Saturday will be held at the EagleBOLT until another location is found.

The Suit-Up Saturday founders are Rachel and Cameron, and the Owners are Rachel, Mau Abata, and Cetaphin, with help from a 15 person local rotating crew.

The SUS team also occasionally organized other events, like the upcoming Minnesota viewing of ZOOTOPIA on March 5th, 7pm in Shakopee, MN

The next Suit-Up Saturday is April 30th, 2016.
