Steam

Steam Bunjie also known as Steam and in Second Life as either:

  • Steam Bunjie
  • SteamPunk Gears
  • Santa Steamer
  • Roger Blackhawk

Is a furrie Second Life official mentor and a virtual developer for DAZ3D® who resides in the United Kingdom.

He has been a fur for over three years and had interest in anthropomorphics and steampunk culture long before discovering the main stream furrie community through Second Life.

He is currently working with DAZ3D® in order to complete and expand his portfolio and start teaching.

Around 2008-2009, he published mild comments to which a known group of trolls took offense, and overwhelmed his blog[1] with second life script traffic.

Oval Office

Steam's Fursona is a Lion hybrid cross-mixed with a Bunny, his original art commissions he requested from Harumi Surya have either been drawn as pure Lion, Bunny, or an AnimeBoy-Fur-Mix only in the case of one commission.

Within the oval office image he is seen attempting to wear his bunny fursona ie the kani avatar as a fursuit over his Lion fursona in a changing room of a British white house.

That commission was placed with an expression of his belief in the way politics work in terms of "a fur in sheep's clothing" and to express how things could have been if Americans had not taken part in the revolution, this is how his complex fursona developed and continues to evolve.

His favorite commission is the image he uses for a background when ever he has posted or taken part in an activity online and which prominently represents himself as a furry.

He is working on his design which will have roots from these avatars as a base reference to understand how to start combining both and explore all possibility of his nature, fursona, interests and emotions, he has explained this duality of fursona in as simple terms as possible, his bunny kindness and philanthropic nature is what most people will see.

He however contains Lion tendencies and when needed can stand up for himself.

He is weathering out the recession, and primarily manages to balance working in Second Life & Openlife on DAZ3D projects as well as developing his websites and can be often found tuned into Rainbow Tiger radio on his old i600 were ever he goes.

Steam is happily mated to Kilynn, his real life & all virtual life partner/wife.

He is a fan of the white house and hopes to start on a complete build in Second Life at some point within the next year.

Steam came to Second Life around 2006 using other throw away accounts, he created his main account on the 8/5/2006 with the name Roger Blackhawk, after suffering in game Drama he created a new account on 1st of December 2007 called SteamPunk Gears, and took Steam as his Fursona name.

Before taken on Steam as his Fursona name, he was widely known as Roger and even way back about 2004-2005 as Neo.

Steam's favourite colour is red and now uses the Anthrox Lion combined with the Kani avatar by Second Life furry avatar creator Uchi Desmoulins, with his trade marked hat and light gray suite, he is often called classy but tried to ignore those comments with jokes he makes at his own expense.

He approached Daz3D's estate manager AeronAiofe Grigges, who is the sister of his partner and asked to push forward and open an orientation after several months the idea and design was approved by DAZ3D marketing department and Linden Labs at which point construction commenced.

However due to linden labs policies and a beating recession, on company's and individuals the void Sims were combined into one full Sim, and no further Sims were provided at this time in Second Life.

But 9 were provided by an external supporter, "fan" of all things DAZ3D from open Sim and construction on the university in sl continues and he has invited Furry Mentors to have free use to teach there.
