Sly Cooper is a planned film adaptation of the 2002 Sony video game Sly Cooper and the Theivius Raccoonus).[1] Officially announced January 28, 2014, the production was actually leaked in 2012 when it was discovered in a film financing database by a NeoGAF user.[2] The film is being produced by Brad Foxhaven of Blockade Entertainment, who also produced the Ratchet and Clank movie.

Initially set to be released in 2016, the film has yet to enter production; following the box office failure of Ratchet and Clank, doubts have been expressed as to whether the movie would ever be completed.[3] As of February 2017, the movie's official website continues to advertise a 2016 release date.[4]
