SloFluffCon (or SFC) is an international furry convention in Slovenia.

The convention was born from an idea first floated in 2020 and finally came to fruition in 2023, when the first SloFluffCon was held in the beautiful and historic Hotel Evropa, the second oldest hotel in Slovenia, located in the city of Celje.^[1] The first edition of the convention attracted attendees from all over the world, who were excited to experience everything that SFC had to offer.

SFC is designed to be an inclusive and welcoming space for furries of all kinds. Attendees can look forward to a diverse range of panels and events, including Main Stage Dances, Dealers' Den, Snack Exchange, various Fursuit events, and other informative and entertaining panels. The convention staff is dedicated to providing attendees with a memorable and enjoyable experience, and encourages them to host their own events, providing them with almost everything they need.

One of the most exciting features of SFC is the convention's theme, which changes every year. This ensures that returning attendees will always experience something new and unique. SFC is a non-profit event, with all funds going towards making the next convention possible. The convention is run entirely by volunteers who are passionate about the furry community and who purchase tickets just like the attendees.

Anyone can attend SFC with a full convention ticket or a day ticket, making it accessible to furries of all backgrounds and budgets. The convention provides a platform for attendees to connect, make new friends, and share their passion for the furry fandom in a safe and welcoming environment.

The first SloFluffCon took place between August 19-22, 2023 at Hotel Evropa in Celje, Slovenia. The theme of the event was "Secret Agents". The event concluded successfully with 96 people attending (including 18 staff members) and plans for the next year's convention began soon afterward.^[2]

2024[edit]

The second SloFluffCon took place between August 24-27, 2024 at Hotel Evropa. The venue remained the same as the first convention, but there was a higher number of attendees. The theme of the second convention was "Mystery at the Hotel".^[3]
