Simon Barber is a furry writer from the U.K., who wrote a number of stories taking place in the futuristic universe where normal creatures (almost all of them anthropomorphic animals) with highly developed technology and magic are engaged in perpetual fight across the time and space with the Lovecraftian creatures from beyond. Except where Lovecraft has demonic beings with tentacles, Simon Barber has immortal plushies, full of cuteness and hunger for the other worlds.
The settings range from many different stages in the future history of the alternate Earth to completely alien locations such as Toho Academy, the String, or other worlds.
Simon Barber also released an adventure computer game, Toho Academy, in 1993.
