Silverspot is a short story by Ernest Thompson Seton, from his first collection, Wild Animals I Have Known which was published in 1898. The story is about Silverspot, "the leader of a large band of crows that made their headquarters near Toronto, Canada". The story uses military analogies of crows' roles in the band, and transcribes their calls as musical notes.
Silverspot is briefly mentioned in Redruff, a story also from Wild Animals I Have Known, and set near the same area.
