She and Her Cat

She and Her Cat is a five minute anime short created almost entirely by Makoto Shinkai (musical credits were by Tenmon) about the relationship between a male cat and his female human owner. The story is told from the cat's perspective. She and Her Cat is notable that it was Shinkai's first directorial project before his later work, Voices of a Distant Star.
