Shade, as drawn by Sigrid Occoris
Shade Koba, is a gay musician, currently living in Oregon.

He was born in Walnut Creek, California, on February 27, 1991, and joined the furry fandom in 2004.

His persona character is a white arctic hare, with purple eyes and black, shoulder length hair, who is commonly seen wearing a black collar from which hangs a purple bell.

Music[edit]

Shade began playing the guitar in the summer of 2006, and, a year later, picked up the bass, which is now his primary instrument, an influence that shows through most of his compositions. He played in the School's band starting the second semester of his sophomore year in high school, and continued as the school's bassist, until the middle of his senior year, when artistic differences forced him to quit.

Shade began composing professionally in March of 2009, and has since released three albums, with one more slated for release sometime in 2011.
