Frazzle (artist)
Frazzle, also known as FrazzleRat, Frazzle, the SewerRat, SewerRat, SierraRomeo, and as Frazzle Ratner on Second Life (born in Bochum, West-Germany, in the late 1970s), is a furry cartoonist, animator, and balloon modeller who lives in Berlin, Germany.[1]

Biography[edit]
Frazzle is a late Gen X kid from the Ruhrpott area. He works in 2D Animation, Illustrator, and character designer. He has also been an experienced balloon modeler since the late 1990s, working in the event industry, as a specialist for large-scale balloon decor installations.
Fandom involvement[edit]
Frazzle got in touch with the furry fandom through IRC in the 1990s, and he has been publishing his art since the mid-90s, initially starting on the SCFA/Yerf website and on VCL. Today, his work can be found on Fur Affinity, X, and Bluesky.
He has attended various furry conventions regularly since 2000 and was Head of Security at EuroFurence in 2001 and 2002. He sometimes frequents local meets, such as the Berlin Sommerfest.
He and VitaniDaReal were the winners of the popular vote for the Eurofurence 7 T-shirt design contest.[2]
Fursonas[edit]
Frazzle's fursona is a cartoon-style rat.
He is also known for drawing an anthro vixen named Trixie Vixen, that has appeared in the mainstream market, most notably on a series of Zippo lighters, sold to the modern Heer (German Army) since 2009.[3]

Art[edit]
Frazzle's artwork consists mostly of a1990s line-based style, often flat-colored toony characters, sometimes wholesome, sometimes naughty. His trademark motifs revolve around mischievous girls, often canines, playing with or popping balloons (Frazzle was one of the first open advocates for the now popular Balloon Fetish in the fandom.
Since the early 2000s, Frazzle has frequently published printed goods media and merchandise products, such as Pin-Up calendars, mousepads, wall clocks, courier bags, et al. He also offers on-site drawings during conventions, like for sketchbooks.
