SaraSona FurCon
SaraSona FurCon was a furry convention "planning to debut December 14-16, 2012 in Sarasota, Florida."[1] 2012 at the Hyatt Regency. It was planned to be the first furry convention in the Sarasota area.
The convention's 2012 theme was "Under The Sea!"[1]
Fuchsia Possum was the Convention Organizer, listed as head of Events committee in a February 2012 post.[2] Other committee heads listed were KoHaku Chimaera, Spotteh, Eidolon, Inu, Sarge, Lunar, Deidara, Bagel of CrestedDogStudios, and Candorian.[2]
A mascot contest was won in February 2012[3]
As of December 4, 2012 the Registration page of the convention website stated "Pre-Registration is currently Closed. We will open soon, please check later."[4]
By January 2013 the website was defunct.
