Ruiner is a term used to describe one of the three branches of the "trifecta" believed to be spoiling the enjoyment of the full furry fandom experience for everybody.

Along with the first two (anti-furries and trolls), ruiners are described as low profile, former fans "who, for whatever reason, (now) hate the fandom and will stop at nothing to monkeywrench and sabotage and drive it into the ground;" that is, their objective is the complete destruction of the fandom culture, as opposed to the "point and laugh" and "public ridicule" stance of both anti-furries and trolls.

Betty Roget and Kobus were given as examples of ruiners in a LiveJournal post by Xydexx[1].

The term ruiner was inspired by the Nine Inch Nails song of the same name[2].
