Rocky Red Panda (Born September 12, 1985), is a illustrator, designer and YouTuber who lives in South Central PA along the PA/MD border who has done work for many different organizations including the Iowa City Moose Lodge and a few community colleges. He is most notable for his humoristic artwork that involves bad puns referencing pop culture and furries similar to the artist Stephan Pastis that he sells at conventions. Rocky is represented as a Red Panda which he also uses in his logo for his business.
Fandom involvement[edit]
Rocky has been part of the furry fandom since 2013. He is a graduate of the art institute of schools with a degree in Digital Design received in 2007. in 2008-2010, He worked as head illustrator for a Company out of Philadelphia called So Fetch Clothing designing designs that would be printed onto t-shirts. in 2011, He went back to school where he started to do designs, flyers and poster work for a local community college including there clubs and organizations.
He started his freelance illustration business in 2013 after joining the furry fandom called Panda Numerique Designs and has been drawing since. in 2017, He joined the ranks of being a convention seller by selling at his first convention Four State Pop and Comic-Con in Hagerstown, MD. He has been creating art and selling at various other conventions such as Comic Cons, Horror Cons, Sci-Fi, and Fur Cons since then. Outside of conventions, He is the owner of Four State Furs which operates out of Western Maryland and is part of the larger Maryland Furs which holds monthly art meets in Frederick, MD and a Bi-Monthly Korean BBQ Meet in Germantown, MD. He is also the host of the YouTube talk show, The Artist Show and host of Weekend Travelers on YouTube.
