Redruff
From WikiFur, the furry encyclopedia.
Redruff, subtitled The Story of the Don Valley Partridge, is a short story by Ernest Thompson Seton from his first collection, Wild Animals I Have Known[1] (1898) in Lobo, Rag, and Vixen printed the following year. The story follows Redruff from a one-day-old chick through to his adulthood, looking after his own young, to his death.
The story includes a brief mention of the crow Silverspot, who is the title character of another story in Wild Animals I Have Known, and set near the same area.[2]
