Pulsifer (Born 1986) is a male furry, whose fursona is an anthropomorphic Grey Wolf.

Person

Pulsifer hails from central California, where he attends Art Institute of California San Francisco. He is majoring in Media arts and Animation. Previously he had attended Sacramento City College with concentration on theatre arts and had worked for the theater department's costume shop, as the "designer's minion". His costume work was seen in the following City Theatre productions; Alice in Wonderland, Working; a musical, Twelfth Night, The Tempest, Dracula, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Snow White: A British Panto, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. He is currently making custom Kigurumi or animal pajamas.

Fandom Involvement

Pulsifer attends Further Confusion regularly, and has intentions on going to Anthrocon and Califur. He also occasionally attends Bay Area Furry events like Frolic in San Francisco.

Art

Pulsifer is a furry artist who works predominantly with a comic style. He was influenced heavily by Disney, anime, Jhonen Vasquez and many others. He also is starting to get into fursuiting, as a way to combine his love of costuming with his love of animals. He currently accepts art commissions in the form of con badges, Character drawings and reference sheets, shrinky-dink keychains, and fursuit pieces like ears/tails/paws etc. Recently he has taken to making, and offering commissions for Kigurumi's. A type of "costume pajama" made to resemble animals or cartoon characters, originally made popular in Japan, and anime fandom woldwide. He sells them under the name "Starlight Kigurumi", formerly and briefly as "Otter Spirit Creations". He is currently working on a soon to be released webcomic project called "Tansia".

Past Incarnations

Pulsifer has in the past used several other aliases and his character has changed dramatically since joining the fandom in 2003. He first went by the name of Ferret and was an anthropomorphic black footed ferret. Since then he has changed his name twice, first Ravyn, and then Pulsifer. Though his character has changed more often. He went from a Ferret, to skunk, then a bat, than an otter, than a skunk (with bat-wings),and a lynx, and so on until finally settling on a white wolf with black markings.
