Phen's character is based on a friend's drawing of his player as a dragon, and he makes almost no differentiation between player and character. He is always seen wearing a black t-shirt, and khaki pants or shorts.
Phen thinks of himself as being on the pulse of all that is "cool" and "hip." As such, he's prone to making references to TV shows, music, anime, Something Awful, videogames, and movies at random.
