Ozzy Fox (Michael Belmares) is a former student of Animation and Media Arts at the Art Institute of Houston. He is a furry artist who is best known for his babyfur and babyfur-related characters. Ozzy goes by the name of Friar as a pseudonym for his art. He is a regular participant in the Houston and Texas Furry scene.

Artwork[edit]

Ozzy Fox's style can be described as equally influenced by 80's and 90's American animation and Japanese video game character designs. Specific illustration and animation influences include Robert Crumb (Fritz the Cat) Jeff Axer (Sonic the Hedgehog, Archie comic), Jim Lee (Wild C.A.T.S.), Don Bluth, and Akira Toriyama.

Formerly a student of animation, Ozzy Fox places his focus on character design.
