OtherSpace is a science-fiction themed MUSH, first started in July 1998 and re-started as of January 1st, 2009.

Character races include felinoids known as Demarians, avians similar to bald eagles called Felari, a lemur-raccoo cross known as Lotorians, a fox-wolf-dhole-like race called the Pyracani, a faerie-like race called the Riftwalkers and a bat-like rodent race known as the Tupai.

[edit] About Otherspace

First started in July, 1998, Otherspace is a text-based collaborative story-telling effort in an original, space-opera setting. Players create a character and from that point engage in a wide range of possible activities, anything from leading a starship crew, building an empire to exploring the galaxy and discovering ancient relics and new alien civilizations.

As of January 1st, 2009, the game has been re-booted, with the premise that existing players have been thrown into a new or alternate dimension which their characters, together with new players, will help to shape
