Nexus Folf (Gale Frostbane) is a fursuiter and convention organizer from Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.[1]

Nexus graduated from the University of Vermont in May 2013 with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering. She was also the school mascot, Rally Catamount.[2]

Nexus' fursona is a black and green folf who glows in the dark. The green is from a radioactive spill that occurred in a biochemical battle her pack was involved in.

Nexus' secondary fursona, and main fursuit character, is Gale Frostbane, a smilodon. This fursuit was constructed by OMGPineapples, and debuted at FurFright 2011. This is the fursuit she most often wears and competes in dance competitions in.[3].

Nexus' third character is Basalt the Deer. Basalt is a slapstick character, that's very clumsy and silly and often involved in gag jokes. This fursuit was debuted in June 2014 and made by That's Furred Up.

Nexus' fourth character is Dew Shep, who was adopted from Groggy Fox in December 2014. Dew Shep debuted at FWA 2013 and was made by Otter N' Daughter.

Fandom roles[edit]

Nexus is the Fursuit Track Lead for Anthro New England, a convention that debuted in 2015 that takes place in Boston, MA. She was a guest of honor for Pine Fur Con 2019.[4]

Performances outside the fandom[edit]

Nexus performed at the mascot for UVM, Rally Catamount, from Sept 2009 until May 2013.

Nexus performed as Slider, the mascot for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, from April 2013-August 2014.

Nexus also worked at the mascot handler for Slyde the Fox, the mascot for the New England Revolution, from July 2013-August 2014.
